Yea that absolutely fine
although be warned if the courses are from the same department then you may be evaluated by the same admission tutors so it would be likely that you are accepted/rejected for both

Yep, I did, and got accepted for both.

You can, so long as the courses are similar.

I applied to two courses at Sussex last year (Politics and Politics with American Studies). I got offered places in both courses, but I ended up rejecting them in the end, haha
yes you can, long as you ps can cover both courses

Yeah, the way I saw it was that they must think I really want to come to the University and are more likely to offer me a place. I applied to Bristol twice and Edinburgh twice. Got rejected for one course and accepted for another so I think it worked!

yep I applied for both normal history and modern and contemporary history at Leicester

Technically wrong. You can apply to any two courses, but as others have said, I wouldn't fancy your chances if you wrote a stupid PS that didn't cover both, which I'm sure is what MazalTov meant

i think you're right, tho tbh you wouldn't risk a course slot for another choice at oxford/cambridge

i applied for 2 in huddersfield and 2 in MMU back when i applied for my first year. its fine. although you could appl for completely different subjects, its not always wise.

my friend wanted to apply for medecine, and was told to try and keep all medical related options on that form, because he had to be shown as really wanting it. he put art down the second time as he was rejected.
That would be the same as if I applied for the Masters and Bachelors or the BEng SW in Mech. Engineering at the same uni (Loughborough)?
has anybody written their personal statement only about 1 subject (to show total commitment to it) and applied for another course at the same uni (a joint honours 1,lower grades) and still got offers for both?

You can do this however as it is the same Department it will go to the same person.

Hi, I actually applied for 2 courses at Loughborough- Manufacturing Engineering MEng (my firm) and for my insurance- BEng Mechanical Engineering with industry placement. As long as your personal statement supports both courses and is relevant to both it should be fine. I.e don't apply to 2 completely incongruent courses like engineering and geography unless your personal statement strongly links to both subjects.
Yes I applied for History and Ancient History at the same place because I hadn't decided which I wanted to do.
I applied for Biological Science and Zoology at the same University. Got accepted (and am taking) Biological Science, but rejected for Zoology as they wanted work experience with animals which at the time of doing my personal statement I did not have, at least not enough for it to count for their requirements.

Actually I filled up the application wrongly and gave less details. So can I apply again for the same course through some agent now.
