Hi, This page is where people can share any interesting maths problems and have discussions , with university approaching, I thought this would be a great idea for everyone who will be studying maths at uni, and a great chance for anyone who's had some time off from maths in the last few months.

An interesting question:
If you were to drop an object ( not exerting any forces on the object when doing so ), why in theory will the object not rotate and why in reality is this not always true?

I can think of a few solutions to this, one with a bit more intuition, and the other involving a proof using vectors
