Hi guys, I am a student from the UK and I opened this thread for likeminded people who are looking to study computer science (cs) at Oxford :P
1. GCSE grades?
- 11 8/9s
2. A-Level subjects and predicted grades?
- Predicted 4A* in maths, fm, physics, chemistry
3. Favourite field in cs?
- AI, especially machine learning and also quantum computing
4. Oxford College?
- Possible Keble because it is the closest one to the cs department, but not sure yet
Good luck to everyone!!

1. GCSE grades?
Ten 9s, two 8s and one A*.
2. A-Level subjects and predicted grades?
Predicted A*A*A*A* for Further Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Economics.
My school does the full Maths syllabus at AS level if you're doing Further Maths so I'm waiting on my grade for that (hopefully A*).
3. Favorite field in CS?
Machine Learning and Programming.
4. Oxford College?
Undecided tbh, but I'm leaning towards Balliol because there seems to be a very sociable community there.

1. GCSE Grades
9A* 1A (My school only allowed us to do 10)
2. A-Level Subjects and Predicted Grades
Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Software Systems Development, predicted 4A*s
3. Favourite Field
AI and ML easy, though seems its the main favourite
4. Oxford College
Hertford, have the odd college Fellow that does really interesting research eg Michael Wooldridge and so on, big into public school applications and just seem like a lovely college overall
Wanted to ask - has anyone heard anything back yet? How did your MAT exams go?

1.GCSE grades:
5 8/9's i exclusively did well in STEM subjects.
2.A-Level predicted
Maths,Computer Science, Further Maths Physics A*A*AA
3.Favourite field in CS
Theoretical Computer Science
Machine learning is too statiscal/experimental for me, i much more prefer certainty and mathematical proof.
4.Oxford College
St.Catz, the most modern one. i dont see the appeal in old ancient buildings
