That's not true, you can still speak to your GP. I've had three separate appointments with my GP during the pandemic. You are allowed to call them and speak to them.

To answer the question, yes, binge eating disorder (BED) is an eating disorder. It's basically where you binge eat and have very negative and shameful feelings associated with it towards what happened and towards yourself. It also has to happen at a fairly regular basis and not be compensated for as well.
