Although I have my own routine, shaving then trimming, I tend to get little razor bumps afterwards that last for a few days. Does anybody have a solution for this?

I'd also appreciate some info on how to style the hair down there, and any tips on how to remove hair safely. Thanks a lot!

Are u a boy/ girl ?
- use men’s razor ( closer to skin)
- moisturise/ let the hair follicles soften by allowing the hot water to run on u and then use conditioner or something not too thick when shaving.
- shave the opposite way to the direction of the hair, do it slowly not too fast and make sure you’re consistently washing the blade with hot water.
- afterwards use aloe Vera if it’s sensitive or u have red bumps/ u could use a cloth that’s cold too to prevent bleeding or redness.
Hope this helps I do this a lot and I don’t get ingrown hairs or razor bumps.

Wax. It changed my life and I’ll never go back to shaving.

Don't do this. All it does is irritate the skin. Precisely the thing you have an issue with in your OP, OP.
