Yes definitely! I've been doing lot's of extra reading as well, I've done some MOOCS which have been really interesting and I have entered an essay competition.
What have been your favourite books so far?

I’ve been enjoying Wolpert’s “How We Live and Why We Die” atm, that’s been really cool! Do you have any recommendations?

I’m possibly looking into Jesus for now. What made you choose merton?

I used the oxford college suggester and I liked that the kitchens are great there and as a vegan I would prefer to self cater, the rent is one of the cheapest I saw, they provide accommodation for the entire course, they seem to have lots of music facilities, they seem to have good welfare and i talked to a merton student on tsr and it sounded like a really great community. What about Jesus for you?

I used the suggested too! Though mine was a general choice because I originally wanted to pick st john’s but seems too competitive

futurelearn have 3-6 week courses that are short and concise if you want something short, i’ve only done an ecology and microbiology coursw. coursera however is more detailed but on average a lot longer (could be better long term because it’s less surface-level information)
