So as I've mentioned a few ti,es before I will be moving into halls soon (5 weeks). I was wondering what kind of food is best to make during this pandemic while sharing a kitchen in university. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

I don’t really see how the pandemic should affect what you cook?

The only difference to normal is that I am planning to get some food to store (e.g. pasta, jar sauce, frozen veg) in case I have to self-isolate at some point. Just enough for a couple of days until I’d be able to get a delivery.

That's what i thought of as well. I was just wondering about different things as i hear that people do sometimes steal some of your food and I've always had my own kitchen. I probably should have worded it better but i just wanted to know the kind of foods that others would make during their stay in uni halls so i could get some inspiration.

not sure there’s a difference in food type but i noticed i’ve been doing a lot more meal prep during lockdown so making extra portions and freezing them !! makes it a lot easier and means you have to go shopping way less !!
