If I resit GCSE exams. When will I start doing A levels. After January?

January will betoo late. If you start A levels this year then it will be in September. If you get GCSE grades in January that mean you want to change your options or start A levels you'd have to discuss with your 6th from what you could start next September.

You'll need to speak to your 6th form, I'd imagine. It's likely that they'd probably just want you to start A levels in Sept (as @Compost says, if you start in Jan you'll be behind and probably not ready to sit exams with everyone else) and then resit GCSEs on top of A level work, if necessary.

If you're resitting the GCSE to be allowed to take the A level, more complicated, and it will likely depend on your school.
