Thank you very much Cavy!

We don’t do much this Eid aside from cutting cow/sheep/lamb and then eating it. Yummy.😊

Right, I've never heard of Eid Mubarak before this thread, hence I was confused.

As a Muslim they’re are two festivals in Islam that Muslims celebrate.

Ones straight after Ramadhaan which is known as Eidul Fitr. The second one and the one we’re celebrating tommorow is known as Eidul Adha, where a sacrificing of an animal is partaken. If you’re familiar with the story of Isaac and Ishmael this is what we offer in sacrifice.

Hope that has helped you understand what Eid is. 😊

There’s such a huge range and it depends on the culture, I can vouch for South Asians and argue it’s mostly samosas, paratha, curries (preferably beef/lamb), chicken korma, chicken roasts, (Indian) sweets which are practically countless, pakoras, fried potato dishes, there’s so much more that I can’t list because I’m getting a bit hungry tbh, but it’s basically like the best food your culture can present if you get what I mean.
