I was travelling through some temporary road works and I went through on amber-red. The lights did not appear to have cameras but the worker was taking photo/video on his phone? Any one aware of this.
Temporary traffic lights don't have cameras, it also highly unlikely that the worker was filming you specifically, just be more careful next time.

You should be more concerned about not having stopped, rather than it having been recorded. Hopefully, this was a mistake, from which you will learn.

I should not have gone, but I was already past the stop sign and did not want to block the road
Do you mean red light?

In the UK, an amber light means stop, unless to do so would cause an accident. Many don't drive in accordance with this.
