    A northern region of Nigeria has banned co-ed or mixed schools as a result of ''too high pregnancy rates''

    Is this really necessary and a rather extreme approach having considered it a muslim majority governed by Sharia Law?

    They could cut them more easily by ending the practice of selling their children as husbands and wives at the age of twelve.

    The patterns of teen pregnancy are vastly different.

    Most pregnant teens in the developing world are married.
