Should I stay in accommodation or study from home?

I’m so torn between living at home and living in halls. I’m starting my course this September and my uni has confirmed that majority of the course will be ‘predominantly be taught online with minimal face-to-face contact’. My uni is in London and obviously if I stay at home, I will save money but then I still do want some social life and be able to experience the uni life. I feel like I would be missing out ://

Hey,

How far is your home from the uni area? Is it within close commuting distance?? If it is you could stay at home but just have to sacrifice abit of extra time to commute there when you want to join friends and societies for events and socials. It seems like alot to commute but you might save money as you mentioned your lectures will be online and alot of the socialising and events isn't everyday so you wont need to commute everyday.

Hope this helps
