Hi so I think I’ve nearly finished all of my research for my EPQ and I’ve started to write the introduction and the first paragraph of the main part. I’m doing a scientific based EPQ and I’m worried and wondering about how complicated does the science have to be? Tip websites have said to not over complicate it and for it to be like a typical essay but is this right?

Try to make it not complicated. The person who marks it might be a little thrown off and will deem the information to be unnecessary. Keep it straight to the point

Also, if it is still an issue make sure to write about it in your reflection at the end as something you're concerned about! It will show that you are actually aware of the issue.
