Hi, so I don’t know whether to do an apprenticeship in Pharmacy or go to uni and do a Pharmacy degree.. I really want to become a pharmacist in the future and was wondering if anyone has any advice on this..

Also my family are encouraging me to take the apprenticeship path as I won’t be in debt

If I was to go to uni I would have to do a foundation year which would total my degree to 5 years which is a long time and a lot of debt!!

I don’t know what to do!! Part of me wants to go to uni and part of me wants to do the apprenticeship

I’ve applied for a couple of apprenticeships and now waiting for responses

It’s alevel results day in a couple of weeks and on the day I was planning on applying to uni thru clearing onto a pharmacy course

But I still don’t know which path to take

If anyone could help me, it would much be appreciated

Thanks!

I think you might as well take the easier option. It might be worth it if you sat down and listed out the pros and cons for each of the options and see what’s stopping you from just picking one
