I am starting a nursing degree in September, I am in a low income household and rely solely on my partners wage. I have one dependent. However I was under the impression from the government website that the maximum anyone receives living away from home and outside of London is £9,203. I have been awarded more than that and I am unsure as to why. Is this normal or have I filled the form out wrong?
You should be fine, personally I'd accept a few extra grand with open arms.

But if you're truly worried a mistake was made then change the amount you want to borrow. I believe there's a option to do that on the SFE website.
