Guys I am a 1st year student at university and I will be going to my 2nd year in September. Do I need to reapply for student finance?

Yes. You need to apply for finance every year.

as a continuing student the application is shorter because you don’t need to prove your identity again. If you want any of the income assessed loan then your parents will need to provide their household income information.

the deadline to be guaranteed payment at the start of term was back in June.

apply ASAP to minimise the risk of late payment.
