Mine wasn’t even that long ago, it was when I was 16 so not long at all. I just had a lambretta moped and my mum would only let me ride it on the weekends only

I was never allowed to use my phone while its charging and I had to ask my family if I wanted to facetime my friends

Too many to list, here are the worst four:
No allowed out alone, even aged 18.
No talking to "bourgeoisie friends" from primary school onwards.
Dozens of forbidden everyday words and phrases.
A ban on "bourgeoisie" items that included almost all branded goods and high street takeaways.

I know that first one all too well. I was never allowed out unless my younger brother came with me yet HE was allowed to go out ALONE every time!
