What to take to Art University?

I’d say take the basics until you know your course structure and modules.

You’ll probably need as a starting point something like:
A few sketchpads- always good for different classes and styles/techniques.
Pens art brush or double tipped ones.
Paint- whichever medium you choose (watercolours are great).

Things like notebooks with a general pencil case of stationery is important.

Most probably they will provide things in lessons for tutorials and workshops or have an art shop on campus you can buy things from.

I am an undergraduate going to art university soon.

I was quickly wondering what you should bring to art university in preparation? I don't want to turn up unprepared or anything.

What do I bring? Sketchbooks, notepads, materials etc?

I just don't want to waste all of my money on things which won't be needed just yet.
