Are there any exams that will allow me to get a job in science without having other degrees/qualifications? The job may not be the highest in the sciences but for various reasons I cannot attend any form of education

Open University is the “standard” answer to those uninterested/not-suited to brick universities. Try a science , technology & Maths “access course”?

Having done this starting course, you can add other Science modules later, if you like.

“A job in science” - yes, you can write scientific papers from home, once you sharpen your skills.
Earning money from a job in science, would be harder, but I’m sure that there could be a path if/when you develop & demonstrate your skills, many people working from home for the foreseeable future, anyway.
