I bought a fresh fig today because I really like dried ones but I haven't a clue how you're meant to eat it. Do you eat the outside, what colour is it meant to be etc?
Yes, I eat the outside. I just eat it as it is. You can cook them too, try looking for some recipes online, if you can be bothered.
You are meant to eat the outside as well. In Spain, they come pretty soft even on the outside. You can eat pretty much the whole thing apart from the bit at the top where it was attached to the tree - well you could even eat that!
Yeah you eat them like an apple. I just saw my mum eating one about 10 mins ago
Slice in half, top to bottom. Scrape out the seeds in the middle.
Use a spoon, scrape off the flesh from the skin, eat the flesh.
Yes you can eat the out side but some people choose not to or you can just peel the skin off and eat the flesh from the middle. Tried them in Turkey fresh straight from the tree, the tour guide man suggested not to eat the skin thought.
youre meant to peel the outside coloured skin and then eat the white outside and red fleshy inside
i dont like them but thats how youre meant to eat them
