Exciting announcement incoming!

In honour of the Commonwealth Games, which are taking place in Birmingham between 28 July and 8 August, Quiz of the Week will be putting on some special quizzes :biggrin:

They are as follows:

•

Thursday 28 July - Quiz about the Commonwealth (in general) and the Commonwealth Games

•

Wednesday 3 August - Quiz about Birmingham (as the host city)

•

Tuesday 9 August - Quiz to 'recap' the Games, e.g. records set, notable events, etc. (so pay attention over the coming days and weeks!)

These will be on top of your usual dose of weekly news quizzes! :ahee:

No, but I offered the Birmingham quiz to my neighbourhood University Challenge team to road-test and so far they've all scored 3/10 :rofl:
