I went on the tube the other day at around 9:30 pm around highbarnet/ Finchley area and the whole time my carriage and the ones next to me were completely empty and each platform was completely empty- is it safe? Is it worth the risk? (I was coming home from the cinema)

I mean it's London...

I suspect it's empty due to Covid

I think it’s better to take the bus (depending on where you live) when it’s late at night
they’re a lot more safer imo and you don’t have to go through station to station which can be intimidating at night

Under usual circumstances, I believe that it is safe to take the tube at night and in the early hours.
I won't go on public transport during the pandemic though.
