Im thinking of changing my course to History of Art, I would like to go to St Andrews or Edinburgh but I’m not sure if their in clearing for that course, could anyone tell me as I find clearing very confusing.

You will need to look on either their websites or search UCAS for what is available in clearing. I know currently Edinburgh isn't in clearing for that course (or many of it's courses); I would be surprised if St Andrews had much if anything in clearing.
However a notable History of Art course in clearing is the Courtauld Institute BA, which may be worth investigating. The UCL-SOAS joint Asia, Africa, Europe History of Art course is also in clearing, which is split between the UCL HoA department and the SOAS one.
