If I don't get into my first choice uni because of grades, can I try through clearing to get in. as due to corona grades will be downgraded maybe spaces left???

Yes. If this is something you're considering then you should start researching now. Make a list of Universities, courses and their UCAS number and rank them in preference to make it easier for you on results day.

In theory yes, in practice no.

If you miss the grades your university can still offer you a place at their discretion, if they don’t offer a place it’s highly unlikely they’ll move.

If you wish to be considered for a foundation year or similar course that is less competitive you can ask on results day.
