So it’s 2 hours. And it needs to be in minutes. 60 minutes in an hour, and 31% of an extra hour is present so 60x0.31 is 18.6, so 19 mins to the nearest minute

To turn 0.31 hours into minutes, do 0.31*60, which is 18.6, or 19 to the nearest minute

2.31 hours is 2 hours 19 minutes. 0.31 is just under one-third of an hour. With 60 minutes in an hour, one-third of that is 20 minutes. If you actually do 60 multiplied by 0.31, it gives around 18.6 minutes, which is 19 to the nearest minute

thank you sm, I just thought that it would 2 hrs 31mins which is why I got confused
