how can i make it into tanx=2/x

Just take one term over to the other side and divide.
I can't see any reference to x=0? You verify its in the interval [1,1.2]?

Factorise the equation.
x(2cosx - xsinx) = 0

x = 0 ---- a)
2cosx - xsinx = 0 ---- b)

Now work on b)
2cos x = xsinx

Can you get it now?
