Hi guys, for MIT (USA) what do they call good SAT scores for maths and verbal? I know 500 is average, but what would someone they admit be expected to get?

Might be better to try a US based site.

500 is the average for the average joe universities. MIT is where the leaders of america are brought, even though it is not ivy. try more like 700 (at least). sorry, don't mean to be discouraging, just honest

I would suggest a VERY HIGH math score, no less than 700. Also, take the SAT II's Math IC and Math IIC - get very high scores on that as well.

anything above 700 is fine; you shouldn't stress about SATs too much; MIT keep telling me it's all about the school grades.
