I had look on Kaplan Publishing but the the book titles don't seem to match up with exam titles and I'm a bit confused. The Applied Knowledge section has the following: Business and Technology, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.

Neither can I find a relevant book in the "lower level" Foundation section, although a lot of them seem appropriate, but there are many.

If anyone can offer direction I'd be grateful!

ACCA are changing the name of some of their exams from September onwards so this may be why you are confused. Accounting in business (AB) is now Business and Technology (BT)

Well, that makes sense now. Thank you for clearing this up!
