Beloved by Toni Morrison and...

For my A2 English Lit when i go back, i have to do Beloved but also another book with some relevance in themes and/or content to compare the two.

I'm haviing trouble finding which other book to use.
Would anyone know which book would be good to compare beloved with?

I would prefer it to be either sci-fi, mystery, horror or thriller to give me more incentive to get a better grade for this year.

I did Beloved for my English A2 cw.

I absolutely hated the book; it was one of the worse books I've ever read in my life. Every page was like an effort because it's such a terrible book!

I got a B for the coursework :mad:

Great suggestion, sounds very dark and has had some good reviews. I will look into it some more.

Lol yeh it is a bit hard to get through, but im sure if i have a book which i will really enjoy to compare it with it should give me extra interest.
