Actuarial science degree with bad a levelsWatch
I was wondering if there’s anyone with any knowledge of actuarial science graduate jobs and the actuary job market could help me.
I’m currently studying a Bsc in actuarial mathematics at the university of Liverpool, and at the end of it I’m set to come out with 8 exemptions from actuarial exams.
However, while I was doing my A levels I was going through a difficult time battling depression and I only managed to come out with a CCD in maths ict and chemistry; However I got all A’s/A*’s at GCSE.
I was just wondering will this affect my chances of getting a graduate job even though I will be exempt from 8 of the exams or do company’s only tend to look for good a level grades for applicants who haven’t passed any actuarial exams?
