A-level Autumn Exams 2020: Doing them even if you've met your uni offer?

The above. Let's say you get A*AA in the summer, you get in uni, but really feel like you could get another A* if the exams were to be completed.
Will universities impose some sort of consequences in this event, e.g. force a deferral?

Not necessarily, but the time spent revising for the A level exam (especially the time needed to get an A*) would be much better spent trying to settle into university and doing your uni work.
