Student finance - maintenance loan help

I've decided to get a maintenance loan and I'm not sure about the papers that I'm supposed to print and send.

It says that I need to print two documents. A request form and a form for applying to student finance based on the household income. Can I just send the request form and ask for the maximum amount available for me (£3,410) and not need to send the other form?

Hi please confirm:

- Your Nationality
- If you are a full time or part time undergraduate applicant
- If your parents are supporting your application or if you are independent

Thanks, Isaac

You should complete the Maintenance Loan Request Form http://ow.ly/d/8nhF and the household income form http://ow.ly/d/8nhI this will award the very basic Maintenance Loan available.

To be awarded the higher rate of funding without providing parents details, you need to meet the independent student criteria http://ow.ly/q5mJ30oSfa5 and send in evidence.
Thanks, Isaac
