Hi!
So I’ve just confirmed my place at the University of Brighton and I’m going to be staying in Paddock Field halls, studying paramedic science. I chose these halls as they are one of the only options that offer parking spaces for students. I need a parking space as I will need to commute to and from placements at hours where I can’t rely on public transport or for long distance journeys to get there. However, my problem is that due to coronavirus, I am unable to book a practical test for a few months. I’ve already passed the theory test I just need to pass the practical test. I won’t be able to drive by the time the course starts and I’m yet to buy a car so I’m concerned that I won’t be able to get a parking permit which is understandable however I am concerned that all of the parking permits will be gone by the time that I will actually be able to drive and so I won’t be able to park my car there to commute to and from placements so I am unsure what to do.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
