Congratulations! If you sont mind me asking what did your oriel say once you had been accepted after your interview? I had my interview yesterday and I just keep checking it

There was quite a lot of posts listed for a mixture of specialisms within clinical engineering - I had 16 in total on my list so I wasn’t sure I would get an interview, ended up getting on that was 4th on my list! hope that helps

Thank you, I have my fingers crossed for you! My Oriel hasn't changed, and the email I was sent said I wouldn't need to accept any offer through Oriel and to accept via email. My interview itself was also never put onto Oriel. Hope that is helpful :smile:

I am ranked 49 for Respiratory and sleep science. Do you know what the total number is for Respiratory and sleep science? And should I still be hopeful for an interview or is 49 way too low to be expecting an interview?

The total number of shortlisted applicants was 89, and with only 9 places and interviews being pretty much finished, you’d have to hope that you chose a location no one else above you wanted.

I got a place in Medical Physics (North London consortium!)
Anyone else on here in the same position? (Or the other London consortiums for that matter) - since it would be neat to have a group chat with us all in the near future :smile:

Literally 36 minutes. I finished my interview, went and told my girlfriend that it went well, rearranged my desk back to usual after moving lamps and stuff for better lighting and had the "do you accept this position on the programme" email by the time I was finished..

But given that it's all done by the individual hospitals there will probably be a lot of variance!
