So my parents are quite poor and claim benefits (don't judge please) and they had kids late in life and have 4 kids aged 7-14 and they're 49 and 56. We're moving house and having to buy lots of expensive furniture etc. Today I asked for money and my dad gave me £60. I feel so bad and guilty for no reason and feel guilty for all the times i fought with them eventhough sometimes i was right. i feel really bad

You can’t expect people to reply if you don’t ask a question

Maybe get a job and then pay them back double?

You always have the option of not asking them for money

If you had a genuine need for the money it’s fine
There are many ways you can help them to repay them.
Help out with the family and around the house and garden
They will understand that you need money sometimes
Just don’t waste it if there’s not much to go around
And nobody should judge your family for being on benefits. There are many many reasons that people are in that situation, especially these days

yep my parents are on benefits because my dad is disabled and my mum takes care of the house and everything and is a stay at home mum. My dad used to have a job, and went to uni but couldnt finish uni because of his back problems. Theyre also quite old to go back to education and no employer would even consider taking them. Thanks for being understanding. When i grow up i want to make lots of money and have a good job and pay back my parents

Hopefully you haven’t spent £60 on make up
That’s not necessary.
You should still have some left over

You don’t need to pay back your parents with things
It will be nice to help them if you can when you’re working
They will probably appreciate some help with the household right now. Especially if dads not well. That means mum will be doing nearly everything herself. You could help out to justify having money. I’m sure she’d love that

That’s great news. Be sensible with it. I’m sure that’s all they want you to do
