Would highly recommend private accommodation. There’s the student roost or fresh student living ones. The Towpath is great (albeit a little pricey) - I stayed there last year. But all the private ones are really nice.

Hey! I have been at Chester for 2 years now and its good! I have been staying at tramways with student roost for both 2 years and would recommend! the staff are friendly. I was at queenspark campus so its a short walk but if you are at a different campus i'd look into the towpath instead of tramways. And student roost do a cash back thing with the code 'Stunii_2021' where you get like £300 in your bank account
