Hi,
I am making this post to (hopefully) find someone that is/has been in a similar boat.

I am an English resident, not a Scottish resident.

I want to study a PGDE in Scotland, SAAS will not fund it since you have to be a resident for 3 years in Scotland. My question is can you get a maintenance loan and tuition fee loan to study a PGDE as an English resident from SFE?

(I have asked student finance England and a representative has said that the course must lead to QTS to be eligible for funding, but NO course leads to QTS in Scotland. So it leads me to think it isn't possible for an English resident to study a PGDE with funding from SFE - which seems insane)

I know this is three months old but I am also interested in this. Does anyone know if English students can get funding for a PGDE course?
