Good tasting alcoholic drinks?

Hi could anyone tell me some alcoholic drinks i can order at a bar or pub which actually taste good (not like alcohol). I want something I can get wasted with but not something which is excruciating to try and drink. Cheers

Oh dear, why dont you just find a drink you enjoy. The idea isnt to find the most tolerable drink to down; a pub is a place to sit and enjoy the drink and atmosphere (its not a bunch of 15 year olds dodgy field party).

Personally I like lager or a cider, sometimes I'll order a Jamesons on the rocks or a spiced rum & coke, its really depends on the mood & personal palate.

Something I invented a few months back: vodka (medical alcohol in my case) with orange juice.

It hides the bitter taste of alcohol perfectly :')

Anything that’s mixed with a lot of juices etc, such as pina colada, maybe pornstar martini and mojitos. Completely depends on the ratios though, and cocktails are more expensive than most other drinks. Maybe try cider as it’s v low volume

I mean, finding a drink I enjoy is quite literally the whole point of the question. I’m not sure what you mean...

When you said "I want something I can get wasted with" I made a judgment.
Im guessing cocktails or fruity cider will be the way to go.

Your question wasn't about a drink you'd enjoy it was finding one that was palatable enough to get you drunk.

Yes but I prefaced it by saying I want something which actually tastes good. Thanks for the suggestion tho

"Get wasted with" is a goal not something you enjoy.

I interpreted your first post exactly the same as Bio 7, I think thats how others will read it as well.

And how are we supposed to know what you like tasting?

You know taste is subjective, right?

And fwiw, I read your post like others did too, that you're drinking like a 14 year old and just want to get drunk.
Pretty sure the majority of people drink what they like the taste of-everyone likes different things which is why there is such a big selection.
What one person likes another person hates.
Without any further context of what you think tastes nice this is an impossible question to answer or give suggestions towards.

That stuff is lethal because it tastes so good. Also, after you've downed a load of it the sugar crash is awful lmao

Find what you enjoy drinking. Some people like wine enough to drink it for pleasure - I hate it because it makes me vomit after like two sips. A lot of people don't like beer - I enjoy it, my go to drink for socialising and with a meal. Some people like gin, others like vodka etc. We all like different things and that extends to alcohol.

Thanks 🙏
This is a really subjective question - some will love the taste of beer, others will hate it. Same goes for wine, vodka with a mixer etc.

If you're talking about a "starter" drink and something sweeter, cocktails aren't a bad shout as most have a lot of soft drinks to disguise the taste. Cider (Strongbow) isn't bad either.

If you're talking shots, jagerbombs don't taste too bad and can get you wasted pretty quickly.
Many start with cider as apple juice is a familiar taste - there are sweet ciders like woodpecker (if that is still made), more appley ones like aspalls, loads of fruit flavoured ones like Kopparberg and then the standard ones like Strongbow which is drier but pretty universally available. Cider tends to be stronger than basic lager/beer.
Rum seems to be a popular spirit these days.
You just need to try a few and see what does it for you.
