Hi everyone,

Following the UK government announcement on revised A level and GCSE grades, the University is delighted to honour all original offers on all programmes that do not have an externally determined cap (eg Medicine) for 2020 entry.

For those students who have met our offer to study medicine based on teacher-assessed grades but do not yet have a place confirmed, we are working with the relevant agencies about places this year and we will guarantee a deferred place for next year.

We expect to receive Centre Assessed Grades (CAG) from UCAS by the end of today, Thursday 20 August.

We will be working through these reviews as quickly as possible, and if you have completed our self-service form telling us you want us to use your CAG we will contact you with our decision as soon as we can.

If you have received an offer from us through Clearing or Adjustment, please be assured that your place is secure and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Lancaster University.

If your revised grades now meet the criteria for our attainment scholarships for exceptional students, your scholarship will be guaranteed. More information about eligibility may be found on our Scholarships and Bursaries page.

We look forward to welcoming all our new students to Lancaster University.

Please keep an eye on results at Lancaster for any further updates, and do let us know if you need any help with anything.

Hi Louise,
Daughters got a place secured, but with the scholarship and bursaries upgrading, would she still need to fill in the self service form? Or is that just for students who have not got their place secured?
Many thanks

Hi Ghostlady
No need to complete the form, this is just for those who want to reinstate an original offer at Lancaster now they have their CAG.
All the CAG of already placed students will be checked for scholarship eligibility changes once we've worked through placing these offer holders.
As your daughter is already firmly placed with us, she doesn't need to do anything regarding this.
Thanks
Louise
