You'll need to check each university website individually to make sure - they'll all have their entry requirements listed on the course page and different universities will ask for different things. For example, at St George's just the BTEC is fine, at Brunel you'd need A-level biology along with the BTEC, and UEL don't accept BTECS at all..

Hi there Astrostar 15

At George's we do accept BTECs in science or healthcare subjects - the entry criteria for 2021 requires DDD. However, like all unis, if you're not applying for 2020 or 2021 entry, the entry criteria could change in the time between now and when you apply.

Hope that helps!

D*D*D* is amazing and you shouldn't feel as if you're at a disadvantage for applying with a BTEC. It's a bit difficult to get work experience at the minute because of the pandemic but if you've had any other experience working with people in the past (doesn't have to be healthcare related) then that's a great start. Do as much research into Physiotherapy as you can and really show your passion for it in your personal statement.
