OCR computer science programming project

Basically I'm in year 10 so I haven't been taught everything we were supposed to have done and my teacher has given us a practice programming project for like summer holiday work for us to have a go at but because I'm quite behind some of the the things on it like the tables don't make any sense so if anyone can explain how they work it would make me very happy

Here is the table that I didn't understand
If you're behind then you should watch craigndave on youtube, here's the playlist link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCiOXwirraUAvkTPDWeeSqAKty3LAG37-

Here's the link to those types of tables: https://youtu.be/ouh5DsxvJEk

Their videos are super helpful, I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already. Feel free to ask anything, I'm doing the same course as you so I may be able to help you

Thank you for replying I will definitely have a look at craigndave. For the table I'm really confused about the column what data will I be using? Does that mean I would put for the first column like testing a suitable genre then for that column I would put like 'rock'?

Hey, sorry for the late reply!
I've made a test plan to help you out.

The 1st column is what you're testing and the 2nd one is what you're testing it with.

I think that it means what your input will be. For example if your testing a length checker for your password, it will have a range, let’s say more than 8 characters so your input will be 123456789 (valid) and in the next row it will be let’s say “hi” (invalid). So this is your input
