Both will be fine, but the combination of a better, brighter screen(200 nits vs 250), and a better processor make it a better option imo.

  • The core specs are the same
  • It's a bit heavier at 1.85kgs compared to 1.5kgs for laptop 2.
  • The battery is a bit smaller at 35Wh compared to 45Wh for laptop 2
  • This one is bigger at 15.6" compared to laptop 2's 14"
  • The screen is a bit dimmer at 220 nits compared to 250 nits.
  • Laptop 2 has a fingerprint reader

Generally the same as the other one, just the CPU is weaker. For the price, I'd probably be more inclined to pickterm[/s]ideapad%205:1:1272:1] this one due to it having the more powerful Ryzen 4500U CPU.

Is the one you just linked to close to the original one you liked (laptop 2)?

  • Both are manufactured by Lenovo.
  • The one I linked has a more powerful Ryzen 4500U
  • The one I linked is a 15.6" laptop. If you want a 14" laptop, look at this one.
  • It's a bit heavier at 1.66kgs, though that's quite light for a 15.6" laptop

Great, so finally:

So between these 2, in terms of specs, the Argos one is better/faster?

It's a more powerful machine, it's bigger at 15.6"(a pro or a con, if you want 14" there's this one), and it's marginally heavier at 1.66kgs.

Great thanks! I think I’ll get then bigger one if it’s a more powerful machine. Is the screen good on the Argos one?
