I got a grade 6 for English Language in my GCSEs; however, I think I want to retake it because I want a higher grade for when I apply to medical school. Are there any tips and tricks you can tell me that will help me in my resit? Thank you.

Hey, I've just moved this to the English exams forums so you can get more replies.

I think as long as you keep focus on what the question asks, you can't go wrong. It's easy to stray away sometimes but if you focus on specific language techniques in the language questions and structural techniques in the structure question, they can't fault you in that way.

Might be word listing down all these techniques and an example of how to use them and then memorising this list, perhaps? :dontknow:
