Everyone who's applied for Psych programmes- When are we expected to hear back? I read somewhere that it's only after the application deadline, i.e. 1st February.

Haven't read anything but I know a few people who applied in previous years and they said they had to wait about a month for a response and they applied quite late toward the deadline. One person applied last year when the deadline was Feb and the other applied in April when the deadlines were still in July a few years back. Both people got accepted as well. (hope this helps in some way)

Oh wow! And did these people have interviews too? I applied on thr 11th of November, and my references were received by the 17th, and my one month date is now approaching!

Hey everyone! I applied for the MSc in Developmental Psychology and Clinical practice around Mid November, and the UCL application portal says that my application has been initially assessed. They said I should wait for 6 weeks until I get a response, but from speaking to people who have previously done the course, there's usually an interview. When do you think I should expect to hear back about an interview? Do you think this year might not have an interview? The course usually accepts 12-15 people each year but this year they are accepting up to 24.

OK, saw the apply begin date has been delayed to 4 Jan 2021, originally should be 7 Dec. Don't know why they keep on postponing, it is difficult to plan for an international student like me.

Okay I just saw the UCL website for my course, and this is what is written- Interviews will be held in March 2021. Interviews are held in person for those in the UK and online for applicants who are overseas.

Seems that they have updated the website to indicate when the interviews will be.

Thanks and seems like most people heard back by ~1 Month, a more realistic timeframe I assume.

Thank you!!! I've applied for MSc Countering Organised Crime & Terrorrism - I've really set my heart on UCL! Oh god I'm so nervous :redface:

It was actually the 10th of November, so a month ago today - much shorter that it has felt, for sure! My course doesn't need referees so as soon as it was submitted, it was ready to be assessed which may have helped speed things up. Best of luck in your application!
