guys I'm getting a bit stressed :frown: does UCL have a time where they start like sending a bunch of decisions or something? Like end of Jan?

Which course have you applied for? the PALS starts processing applications after the deadline.

I applied to Global Governance and Ethics, Political science department

I have applied to MSc Computational finance and MSc Financial Risk Management. All the other universities I applied already gave a decision. I have a deadline until first week of february to accept/reject them. I am really disappointed with UCL. How can they not process my application this late? I will have to accept one of my offers at hand and if UCL decides to give me an offer after months ,it will be too late and thats their fault really. Don't they know other universities' deadlines etc?

I applied to MSc in International Real Estate and Planning on 9 November 2020 and it has been 11 weeks until today, but I still have not received any updates on my application. Is anyone here applied to the same programme?

I applied for MSc Economics on 9th November and haven’t heard a decision yet. This is SO disappointing.

They're probably acutely aware of this but they don't really care. At Postgraduate level, the apparent 'done' thing is to accept all offers and then, once you receive all your offers, then begin to reject ones you don't want. The only slight complication is if courses are asking you to make a deposit. It feels a bit cheat-y but without a central UCAS-like system (which would be very difficult to implement for PG study IMO) this is the way things are - admissions teams will be used to people accepting offers only to reject them later on. If they didn't want that, they'd ask for a deposit.

I applied to MSc Business Analytics at the end of Nov, still nothing.. has anyone gotten a response yet?Do you think due to Brexit and Covid, there will be a drop in the number of international applicants? Also are you expecting that everything will go back to normal by autumn or should I prepare myself for online learning? :frown:

All of my offers require to make deposits, thats why I have to choose one . Why else would I worry about the timing of offers if I had the chance to accept offers without making deposit?

Yes that is unfortunate and I sympathise with your situation. If you haven't already, calling the UCL admissions line and emphasising your situation is probably your best bet - whenever I've spoken to them, they've been extremely helpful. Good luck!
