What about it I want to do a 4th a level in further maths but my school refused because they couldn't timetable it? Would I still be at a massive disadvantage for medicine?
You can mention it in your SAQ - which btw, I didn't do!
It's definitely not a disadvantage for medicine either!

Does the SAQ play a big part in whether youd be offered an interview or not?

Don’t think so because apart from the optional additional statement, it’s mostly just about which courses your doing for a level so you can’t really do anything about it

Thankyou Peterhouse Admissions.

I realise applications rise year on year, but I was wondering if Cambridge were anticipating an unprecedented surge again due to grade inflation?

When does data / statistics come out for this year's applications in general, for subject-specific stats? Would it be after offers have been made or do they publish stats pretty early on?

I think it's fair to say we're expecting an increase (as usual), but we don't really get into guessing how many applications we might get.

Stats on applications to the university as a whole and to individual colleges will come out at some point in May 2022.

Well done everyone who has submitted your application. Just remember that whatever happens next is not something you can control. These are subjective decisions made by human beings.

My SAQ didn't ask for my BMAT number. Anyone else had this? I thought you normally are supposed to put the BMAT number in if applying for medicine.

Check your spam, but they might just be processing it all together after the deadline (it would be less work if you can do it in one).

Would you be able to explain your problem in a bit more detail?
The UCAS has experienced some technical issue that some applicant (including me) is unable to see details, such as qualifications, after they submitted their application. Briefly, some information was lost during the submission process. You'd better check, guys. For me, I "lost" my IELTS number which I had surely added.
