Which laptop is best for editing?
I'm doing my a levels soon and 1 of my subjects is Media which I want to pursue as a career. I'm really struggling to find which laptop would be best for video editing and overall taking notes. I have a budget of £2k and was thinking of either the Macbook pro 16
Something with a good graphics card and RAM.
Any laptop with a good Graphics Card and RAM above 8GB (Ideally 16GB or over) will work. Gaming laptops around £900 - 1000 should usually do the trick, however the MacBook you mentioned is most likely the best option in terms of specs.
I use an Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54-51M5) laptop and it works for me, though the RAM becomes an issue at times due to programs crashing.
