Hi Guys,

I've recieved my student e-service registry e-mail. I've tried to use the login details provided to log onto the e-service at www.imperial.ac.uk/studenteservice yet keep on getting the message:
Login failed. Please verify your login information or contact the system administrator.

Anyone had the same problem? Anyone knows a possible solution? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you're using the correct username and password? username is your CID and password should have been provided in the email.

Your E-Service login is as follows:

Username: your CID
Password: your first College password (even if you change your College password, the E-Service one stays the same)

My login is jas206, so the following four email addresses are valid for me:

[email protected]
[email protected]

[email protected]
[email protected]

Mail to any of them will reach your inbox. In fact, if you're emailing using the College exchange server (icex.ic.ac.uk) you can just send email to a username - for instance, just jas206 - and it will reach them without the @ic.ac.uk.

I've managed to avoid all spam since I got my address.

Perhaps I pushed it that little bit too far. :afraid:

I look forward to the day I actually get an email address and I will be getting these ones aswell - I'll use your format

So you're a third year now? How have you found it? Has the workload increased?

The IC Spam Quarantine thing is absolutely bulletproof, it's true. I don't understand how I get messages saying I have 200 spam messages a day or something stupid like that.

I don't want that much viagra, thanks!

Term hasn't started yet, we don't know what the workload is like before we've even started 3rd year :p:

I'm apprehensive, myself :o:

I keep getting "full inbox" notices because of them, it's really very annoying. And I don't know. I may just look into it.
