******ed brother factory reset the ps4 and everything, I mean everything has been wiped off. Won't have the time to get all my data back since school is starting soon. There must be a way to get it back right?

Also what's a suitable punishment for a 20+ year old? Because theres no way I will let him get off scot free with a measle 'sorry'.

If you have PS Plus and backed up your saves to the cloud then you can download it from there.

Unless you did this, or made manual back-ups using a USB stick, then unfortunately the save data is gone.

There are ways to recover deleted data from hard drives. Solid State hard drives are more tricky. I'm not sure if it is possible.

HDD hard drives... perhaps. But I don't know much about it. I don't think it's very reliable. The data will likely be corrupted, and not fit for what you intend it for. I believe there is specialist hardware and software for it, or you can pay a tech company to do it.

Probably not worth the time or effort.

He is evil incarnate.

Take away everything he holds dear until he begs for his life.

Beyond evil, his excuse was he didn't know that factory settings does that which we all know is full BS. Unfortunately I can't do that.

The punishment must fit.

Factory reset his devices! It is less than his crime but it is poetic.
