Hello,

I want to apply for the part time fee grant in Scotland. My current salary is over £25000, i am however being made redundant shortly. Due to lock down reducing my wage for a few months i would not reach £25000 this year regardless of my employment status. Does anyone know if this would be acceptable?

With regards to registering, i have enrolled with my modules online and have received the registration documents through the post. In these documents it asks how i would like to pay, and under the PTFG section it asks for your CRN, which i do not think i can receive until i register with SAAS.
The PTFG document requires my fully completed registration document to be sent with it.
My understanding from this is that both documents require the other to be completed first.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Best bet to clarify on the funding side is to contact SAAS directly- their FB pages is usually pretty quick at getting back.

As for the other query -the application is all done through the OU site so you upload both forms to the OU and then they liaise with SAAS to get it confirmed.

In normal years what you do is fill both forms in, post them to the OU then they pass it to SAAS after stamping the institution part. You don’t need a CRN for your first application.
